The Sherwood Park Fish and Game Archery Section

The archery section held its first 3D archery shoot on the new course on Sunday, May 15. There were 19 members that participated in the 42 target event. There was a variety of targets to shoot at including a mosquito, wolverine, fish, baboon, deer, bear, boar, snake, elk and bison. Distances ranged up to forty yards and targets were setup in hunting type scenarios. Our youngest shooter was Brianna at the age of 4 and we will not say how old the oldest was. All present thought it was a great course and are looking forward to the next shoot. Proceeds from the shoot were donated to the Red Cross Ft. McMurray Recovery Fund. You can view pictures of the event on both the SPFGA Website and Facebook.
